RUSH
Rush is our fraternity’s formal recruitment process, where you can learn how to potentially join our organization! Rushees participate to learn more about the organization and meet our Brothers, and also get to know more about what AKPsi has to offer. Rush overall is the way to receive a bid to enter the AKPsi pledging process, in order to join the fraternity!
Our fraternity welcomes all majors and years of Georgia Tech students to rush. We have a widespread diversity of majors and fields that our Brothers represent, and we encourage you to come learn more about our Brotherhood and its benefits! There will be activities, panelists, networking, and opportunities for you to talk to as many people as possible within the organization.
Registration for Spring 2026 is officially open! Please fill out the form below to join us at our recruitment nights. (We also take walk-ups, so don't worry if you weren't able to register beforehand!)
While our website does entail all information regarding rush, if you want to read more into the specifics of what you can expect and how to prepare for rush, please look at our Spring 2026 Official Rush Guide, created by the recruitment team. Timeline, dress code, schedule, logistics, and FAQ are all included in this document, so we encourage you to read it!
The Spring 2026 Recruitment team presents…

Every semester, our rush process is built around a unique theme that ties into our open rush nights. This Spring, Alpha Kappa Psi is going off the grid with a Men in Black–inspired mission.
Recruits will be introduced to a world of discretion, professionalism, and elite operations, where ambition meets execution. From classified briefings to covert networking, this season is all about discovering what it takes to become part of something bigger than yourself.
Our theming is designed to keep each semester fresh, immersive, and engaging, while giving you the opportunity to learn more about our organization and showcase why you belong on the inside. Expect a high-energy experience that blends professionalism, community, and a little mystery.
A huge thank you to our Recruitment and Social Media teams for bringing this mission to life and ensuring every rushee has a standout experience. Clearance is opening soon. Are you ready to be recruited?

FAQ
WHAT IS A BID?
A bid is an official offer to join our fraternity. You have the options to accept, defer, or decline a bid. Accepting means that you would enter the pledging process to join our brotherhood. Deferring allows you to push your offer to the following semester!
WHAT TYPE OF CANDIDATES DO YOU LOOK FOR?
We are looking for driven people who are looking to grow professionally. We are also a fraternity, so we are also looking for a social fit. There are no major requirements or year requirements.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A BUSINESS MAJOR TO GET A BID?
No! This is one of the most common misconceptions. Over 75% of our Brotherhood is not a Business major, with 29% being non-Business, non-IE, and non-CS. We embrace our major diversity and encourage all to join, as we have the resources and community to thrive in every field!
IS ATTENDING ALL DAYS OF RUSH REQUIRED?
No! You must attend PIS night, and at least one of the two open nights of rush. If you have any conflicts with the rush timings, please reach out to the contacts below the FAQ!
ARE THERE REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE A BID?
You must fill out the registration form, attend at least one of the two open nights of open rush, and signup and complete a PIS interview. Completing all of these parts makes you eligible to be considered for a bid.
IF I DON’T GET A BID THE FIRST TIME, CAN I RUSH AGAIN?
Yes! We encourage those who do not get a bid to rush again! In fact, many of our current Brothers have actually rushed more than once.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact our Vice President of Membership, Visakhi Miriyapalli (vmiriyapalli3@gatech.edu), or our Recruitment Project Manager, Saloni Panchamia (spanchamia6@gatech.edu).
